Global Markets
Global Markets assists and advocates for U.S. businesses in international markets to foster U.S. economic prosperity. Utilizing our network of trade promotion and policy professionals located in more than 100 U.S. Commercial Service offices nationwide and in more than 75 international markets, Global Markets promotes U.S. exports, especially among small and medium-sized enterprises; advances and protects U.S. commercial interests overseas; and attracts inward investment into the United States.
Industry and Analysis
Industry and Analysis trade and industry experts produce the world’s most innovative, high-quality, in-depth trade analyses and develop strategies that define the future of international trade, investment, supply chains, and export promotion. I&A makes data, analytical tools, and market intelligence easily accessible to external decision-makers in the private sector and in government. I&A also works directly with the private sector to create programs and design policies that help U.S. firms compete in a global marketplace.
Enforcement and Compliance
Enforcement and Compliance ensures a level playing field for U.S. industries by defending against unfair trade and ensuring compliance with existing trade agreements. E&C also administers the Foreign Trade Zones program, the Steel and Aluminum Import Monitoring and Analysis licensing programs and the Enhanced Global Steel Trade Monitor.
